Which model and how much did you pay?

I paid $239 +tax at Newegg for the 500GB model. It was very early Black Friday, just after Newegg sent the E-mail subscribers the official sale announcement. Later in the day, I noticed they had raised the price to $299! Wow! I got lucky.

Perhaps they noticed that Amazon.com wasn’t budging. AMZN kept the price at $299 all day BF and ever since.

In addition to the server, I purchased 2 one-terabyte Western Digital Caviar Green hard drives. One is installed in the server and one is connected via eSATA. I paid $69.99 each, no tax, and free two-day shipping. As of Sunday, Dec. 5th, they are $89.99 each. Lucky again! (I should buy a Lotto ticket).
